The Sack is bad. It is a sweaty bunch of nugheads who love to make noise. As far as music goes, you've got to respect their creativity (just kidding) or at least the fact that the whole shpiel is improv. All of these recordings were done in this guy's garage with this other guy's minidiskman. They have been likened to three guys playing in the same room at the same time but practicing their instruments separately (that's on a really bad day). Cohesion is not always there and the moments of brilliance are few and far between but the idea behind the band is quantity, not quality. Songs always start from and end in chaos but the inbetweens is what's yum anyway. One never tells another "play something else because what you're playing now sucks" because the other might be thinking the same thing about the one. And we pretty regularly play really badly just to frustrate each other. That's always fun.

You've got to remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
